Jesus knew His mission and purpose. He was submitted to His Father and every day made the decision to submit to Him. In the Garden of Gethsemane He wrestled and prayed three times that the cup of hardship and fire would pass but He got to the place of, “Nevertheless, Your will be done.” He chose to yield at the breaking point. In our lives, we have to choose the Father’s will over our own and know ultimately, His will is better.
