(Men On A Mission)

Men's RoundTable Fellowship every 1st Saturday @8am (MultiPurpose Room B)

The Men on a Mission Ministry exists to help men identify themselves as men of God and direct their lives to the fullness that God expects from them.

Our goal as a Ministry is to strengthen the work of the Church by supporting, equipping, encouraging and exhorting the saints upon whose shoulders the weight of the Church and of our families must lie. We do this in many ways but place a specific emphasis on three areas that we see as crucial to personal and spiritual development – Morality, Marriage, Relationships, and Money /Finance.

Morality
We help men to lead lives of righteousness, recognizing that salvation can only come to us when we set ourselves apart from the world in thought, in action and in lifestyle.

You are of God, little children, and have overcome them, because He who is in you is greater than he who is in the world. 1 John 4:4

And you will be hated by all for My name’s sake. But he who endures to the end will be saved. Matthew 10:22

Be diligent to present yourself approved to God, a worker who does not need to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth. 2 Timothy 2:15

Marriage and Relationships
We help men to understand and attain their proper roles in the home as mandated by the Word of God. We, as men, need to understand that we are going to be held accountable for the lives of our wives and our children

For the husband is head of the wife, as also Christ is head of the church; and He is the Savior of the body. Therefore, just as the church is subject to Christ, so let the wives be to their own husbands in everything. Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ also loved the church and gave Himself for her, that He might sanctify and cleanse her with the washing of water by the word, that He might present her to Himself a glorious church, not having spot or wrinkle or any such thing, but that she should be holy and without blemish. Ephesians 5:23-26

And He answered and said to them, “Have you not read that He who made them at the beginning ‘made them male and female,’ and said, ‘For this reason a man shall leave his father and mother and be joined to his wife, and the two shall become one flesh’? So then, they are no longer two but one flesh. Therefore what God has joined together, let not man separate.” Matthew 19:4-6

Money/Finance
We help men to understand the nature of Godly provision and to recognize the blessings and joys that can come from being faithful stewards within God’s Kingdom.

Command those who are rich in this present age not to be haughty, nor to trust in uncertain riches but in the living God, who gives us richly all things to enjoy. Let them do good, that they be rich in good works, ready to give, willing to share, storing up for themselves a good foundation for the time to come, that they may lay hold on eternal life. 1 Timothy 6:17-19

No servant can serve two masters. Either he will hate the one and love the other, or he will be devoted to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve both God and Money. Luke 16:13
